Tien Doan I just listened to this album three times through already. It's another great spaghetti western (ish) sounding psychedelic instro guitar album (with trumpet and other instruments) from this Austin band that really needs to be heard by many more people! My two favorite songs are Redemption of the River Witch and the Big , the Sad.... but there's not a bad song on here. Favorite track: The Big, the Sad and the Sometimes Beautiful.

What a fantastic EP! It has me craving more. Betty's music evokes images and feelings of the desert without even trying. And it sounds how Dick Dale may have sounded if he had less dick, more mescaline and spent his time in the sand of the desert instead of that of the beach. gavino10478
